The Old George is a beautiful listed historic pub renowned for its for friendliness, good food and a marvellous atmosphere.
It remains a family owned and independent freehouse with a wide range of traditional real ales and other beverages -
so we can offer the quality and service that you prefer.
This 16th Century inn is steeped in history as you will see when you visit us. Stony Stratford has had many royal
visitors in the past, and was the location for one of the Eleanor Crosses, which stood in the High Street not far
from The Old George. It was a monument to the great love between King Edward I and Queen Eleanor.
So, for a warm welcome fit for royalty - whether you are here for a quick drink, enjoying a freshly cooked meal in the
restaurant or staying for work, love or pleasure, do pop in. Our room rates are very competitive, and will pleasantly
surprise you if you normally stay in a Bed and Breakfast. Note that we also do good value Sunday Dinners with traditional
dishes as well as some more exotic ones.
Accomodation includes double, twin, single and family rooms. all rooms are en suite and have telephones, televisions
and tea makin equipment. Special rates are available at weekends.
Stony Straford is well located for Central Milton Keynes, Milton Keynes Railway Station and Silverstone.
It has good road connections to M1 and A5. You can keep in touch with home and work with our free wifi in the bar area.
